Postpartum Doula Services
Services are available during the day. During each home visit, I provide the following support:
Emotional & Informational Support
Active listening and nonjudgmental encouragement
Guidance on newborn behavior and postpartum adjustment expectations
Evidence-based feeding support (breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, pumping)
Referrals to specialists (lactation consultants, mental health pros, community groups)
Newborn Care Education
Diapering, bathing, soothing, and helping decode baby cues
Instruction on calming techniques such as the “5 S’s” approach
Babywearing guidance
Family Adjustment Support
Helping older siblings adapt with kindness and inclusion
Partner support to help navigate new roles and shared responsibilities
Practical, Daytime Support
Prepare simple meals and snacks
Light household tasks: dishes, laundry, errands, organizing nursery/home flow
Setting up pump equipment and feeding supplies
Postpartum recovery care information and processing birth experiences
Additional phone/text check-ins to ensure continued support
